The Honey Island Swamp Monster

The Honey Island Swamp Monster is a cryptid reported from St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. First reported in 1963, the creature is described as a large, hairy biped with unusual webbed feet adapted for the swampy environment.

Witnesses describe a creature standing seven feet tall, covered in grey hair, with a foul odor. Air Traffic Controller Harlan Ford claimed to have seen the creature while hunting and later found unusual footprints.

Honey Island Swamp comprises over 70,000 acres of protected wetland that could theoretically harbor unknown animals. Reports continue from the remote wetlands.
