Jerome Ghost Town
A copper mining town that slid down the mountain. The entire community shifted 200 feet. Now known as Arizona's largest ghost town. The Jerome Grand Hotel, a former hospital, is extremely haunted.

The History
According to historical records, this copper mining town was founded in 1876 and known as the “Wickedest Town in the West.” The population peaked at 15,000 before the mines closed in the 1950s and it was nearly abandoned.
The Sliding Town
What happened: Dynamite loosened the ground, causing buildings to slide down the mountain. The jail moved 200 feet. Structures are still moving in this unique phenomenon.
Jerome Grand Hotel
The former hospital built in 1926 saw many deaths. It was converted to a hotel and is extremely haunted, ranking as one of Arizona’s most active sites.
The Hospital Ghosts
Reported spirits include patients who died, miners who perished, accident victims, and children. Activity is very intense.
