Since 1887, witnesses in Michigan have reported a seven-foot tall creature with a dog's head and human body. Sightings spike every 10 years in years ending in 7. A 1987 radio song about the legend generated hundreds of new reports. The 'Gable Film' purportedly showing the creature was revealed as a hoax.
