The Height 611 UFO Crash

On January 29, 1986, residents of Dalnegorsk observed a reddish sphere crash into Height 611. The impact left metallic debris that Soviet scientists could not explain.

Witnesses described a reddish-orange ball traveling silently before impacting the hilltop, where it burned for about an hour.

The Evidence

Investigators found metallic mesh fragments with unusual composition, small lead balls, glassy beads, and unknown organic material. The metals contained unusual isotope ratios that could not be explained by conventional manufacturing.

The Dalnegorsk incident is significant because of the physical evidence recovered, which has never been satisfactorily explained.
