The Dalnegorsk UFO Crash
A reddish sphere crashed into a Russian hill, leaving unusual debris and burned vegetation.
The Dalnegorsk UFO Crash
On January 29, 1986, a reddish spherical object crashed into Height 611, a hill near Dalnegorsk in the Soviet Far East. The crash left physical evidence that was studied by Soviet scientists.
The Crash
At approximately 7:55 PM, witnesses observed a reddish, spherical object moving silently over the town. It appeared to crash into the hillside, producing flashes and sparks. Witnesses assumed an aircraft had crashed.
The Investigation
Soviet researchers reached the site and found a burned area with unusual debris. They recovered metallic spheres, mesh material, and strange beads. Trees were burned. Analysis revealed unusual isotopic ratios and materials.
The Evidence
The recovered materials included lead, silicon, and iron in unusual configurations. Some spheres contained gold wire. The isotopic ratios did not match any known terrestrial source. The materials appeared manufactured but by unknown processes.
The Official Response
Soviet scientists treated the incident seriously. Expeditions continued for years. The Dalnegorsk crash became known as the Soviet Roswell. Some materials were classified; others were studied openly.
Assessment
The physical evidence from Dalnegorsk sets it apart from most UFO cases. Unusual materials of unknown origin were recovered and analyzed. What crashed on Height 611 came from somewhere, and it wasn’t an ordinary aircraft.
