The Height 611 UFO Crash

On January 29, 1986, residents of Dalnegorsk in the Soviet Far East witnessed a reddish sphere crash into Height 611, a nearby hill. Unlike most UFO incidents, this one left behind physical debris. Soviet scientists analyzed the materials and found properties that could not be explained by known manufacturing processes.

The Sighting

At approximately 7:55 PM, witnesses observed a reddish, ball-shaped object moving silently across the sky. The object was approximately three meters in diameter and flew parallel to the ground at an estimated altitude of 700-800 meters.

The sphere approached Height 611 and appeared to brush the hilltop before crashing. Witnesses reported seeing bright flashes as the object impacted and burned on the hillside for approximately an hour.

The Investigation

Three days later, a team led by Valeri Dvuzhilny climbed Height 611 to investigate. They found a burned area approximately two meters in diameter. Within the burn zone were metallic droplets, glass-like beads, mesh-like materials, and carbonized wood.

The materials were collected and sent to Soviet scientific institutions for analysis.

Anomalous Properties

Analysis revealed materials with unusual properties. Some metal fragments contained iron and elements not typically found in combination. The mesh material was composed of extremely thin threads woven in ways that Soviet scientists could not replicate.

Some materials exhibited what was described as “memory” properties, returning to their original shape after being deformed. Others showed crystalline structures that seemed impossible given their composition.

Subsequent Events

In the weeks following the crash, additional luminous objects were seen over the area. Some appeared to hover over Height 611 as if investigating the crash site. Witnesses reported electrical disturbances in the vicinity.

Later expeditions found additional debris and noted that the burned area showed no signs of normal vegetation recovery for years.

Assessment

The Height 611 incident is significant because of its physical evidence. Unlike most UFO cases, materials were recovered, analyzed by qualified scientists, and found to possess genuinely anomalous properties.

Whether the sphere was an extraterrestrial craft, an unknown natural phenomenon, or something else, the debris it left behind remains unexplained by conventional science.
