The 'Astronauts' of Tassili n'Ajjer
Tassili n'Ajjer, Algeria
In a remote canyon of the Algerian Sahara, French ethnographer Henri Lhote documented Neolithic rock paintings of large helmeted figures he privately nicknamed 'the Martian Gods,' setting in motion one of the twentieth century's most enduring ancient-astronaut controversies.
The Magenta Italy UFO Crash
Magenta, Lombardy, Italy
A bell-shaped or saucer-like craft allegedly crashed near Magenta. Mussolini's government reportedly formed RS/33, a secret cabinet overseen by Guglielmo Marconi, to study the wreckage. The case gained new attention in 2023 when whistleblower David Grusch cited it as evidence of retrieved non-human craft.
The Scandinavian Ghost Fliers
Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Finland)
A major wave of sightings swept across Scandinavia as unmarked aircraft were observed flying in impossible conditions - through blizzards, without lights, in remote areas with no aerodromes. Despite extensive military searches, no bases or aircraft were ever identified.
